Michael F. Cormier is an award-winning DP/Filmmaker with over 20 years of experience shooting hundreds of TV shows, Documentaries, Corporate projects, and Branded Content. He knows DC like the back of his hand yet has shot extensively in over 25 countries and counting.
An enthusiastic collaborator who can serve as a Director, DP, or one man band, Michael can also take a production from start to finish. He is always willing to go out of his way to get the perfect shot. His well-rounded experience, positive attitude, and creativity brings a relaxed, enthusiastic, and distinct artistic approach to all productions. He is comfortable in any venue or situation.
Of all the locations he has worked, his favorite is Easter Island, where he shot an episode of House Hunters International for HGTV. He also loved working in Morelia, Mexico and Bogota, Columbia where armed guards had to shadow him for his safety.
Michael studied Film and Engineering at the University of Virginia. In his spare time he enjoys world travel and still photography.
